The End of Expensive Travel PCR Tests?

Local MP and Chair of the Transport Select Committee spoke in the Health Secretary's statement on plans to deal with COVID throughout Winter. 

Mr Merriman used this opportunity to call for an end to PCR tests for UK arrivals, saying that they should first use cheaper lateral flow tests and then go on to have a PCR test only if that result is positive.
