Huw calls for international travel clarity

Local MP Huw Merriman called for an end to the travel uncertainty that consumers and the industry are currently facing.

Huw urged Mr Hancock to unlock international travel and asked: 

  • Why Portugal was not placed on the green watch list
  • If he received scientific advice that Portugal should be moved to the amber list, and if so, to publish that data
  • If double vaccinating over 50s and clinically extremely vulnerable would be an appropriate milestone to unlock international travel
