Local MP Huw Merriman asked the Transport Secretary to consider allowing arrivals from green list countries to take a lateral flow test, instead of the more expensive PCR test upon arrival.

To combat and identify mutant strains, he recommended that those with positive lateral flow tests should then take a PCR test, but highlighted the importance of keeping costs down for travellers.
