In photo: Joseph with Huw and the Northiam Parish Council

This last week, I have had the privilege to do work experience with Huw, Frances, Craig and Joe in the Bexhill and Battle Constituency office, where I was able to learn about and assist in the wonderful work carried out here everyday to support those living in the area.

I attended meetings with local parish councils and other organisations, as well as researching important matters to the constituents, which everyone here holds close to heart, and other interesting related tasks.

One of these was helping Huw with raising awareness for UK Parliament Week 2021 using social media. I was also privileged to see the work carried out by voluntary groups in Sidley, organising activities for school children throughout the summer holidays.

Huw and the office team were very welcoming and happy to show me their work, we are very lucky to have such a dedicated MP and an amazing team supporting us and who care so much for the good of everyone in the constituency.

It was an honour to be working with everyone I have in the last week, and I am grateful for the experience and opportunity they have given me.
