Leasehold Reform: Select Committee Report

Following my PMQ on leasehold reform, I have been working with other MPs across Parliament to reform an area of law which is ripping off many of my constituents. In Parliament, I welcomed a new Select Committee report and put my support behind their reforms. I am now due to lead a delegation to meet with the Secretary of State for Housing and Communities.

Statement from Huw Merriman MP

After 9 years as the Member of Parliament for Bexhill and Battle, I have made the decision not to stand as a candidate at the next election. This means I will also leave my job as Rail Minister on 4 July. I have loved being an MP and I leave with a heavy heart.
