In a Westminster Hall debate discussing funding for small and village schools. Huw spoke about the recent proposal to close Broad Oak Primary School. This threat is due to a lack of pupils that attend.
Huw highlighted that “small schools are good schools” and are often the heart of the community providing a vital role – particularly for children with special educational needs.
The Minister committed to working with Huw to help residents deliver a good case to save the school.
